The Deluge

It doesn't rain very often in California. But when it does, it really rains. For days. And days and days. And hard. Last night it actually hailed. The drama of it...it's so very Hollywood. Walls crumble, roofs leak, mud starts flowing, lights go out, palm fronds fly and crash, grass grows and things get green! Hot baths are drawn, soup is made for sudden sniffles, popcorn is popped, movies are watched and socks and slippers are your best friend. A bit of weather to shake things up is always welcomed in my book.
